We have no plan, no guidelines in our music-making other than to listen intently to where the music is going and to respond (or not) with the hope of creating a beautiful piece of music, an experience, a journey.

"..this is the product of asking musical questions and listening to the answers." - Alex V. Cook: Author, Journalist, Critic

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

I remember being in the womb. I could sense my body, pudgy, pushing it’s form. Later, when I saw the Pillsbury dough boy, I thought, “That’s what it felt like!”. In the womb, I could hear my heartbeat, my mother’s heartbeat, and the clock by her bedside (I think). It was uncomfortable and I wanted it all to stop.
